I am a part qualified book keeper looking to gain work experience in practice and I am willing to work as a volunteer for a self-employed / small business as part of this. I am very hard working and reliable and my role would be to: 1. Update a cashbook spreadsheet recording payments made and cash received for your firm each month for your information and to use for completing tax returns. 2. Help prepare VAT and tax returns 3. Provide a financial summary each week/month highlighting outstanding creditors and debtors My benefit is to gain experience and your benefit would be to obtain free book keeping services. I am currently employed and would only look to work for 5 to 10 hours per month which is why a small firm or sole trader would be best suited. What my training covers – general book keeping tasks: • Cash management and credit control • Cashflow monitoring • Debt monitoring • Reconciliation of accounts and bank reconciliation • VAT returns • Preparation of final accounts • Financial performance indicators If you are interested in my working for you as a book keeper in a voluntary capacity, please respond to this advert. I am flexible regarding work times and would look to work for you during evenings in the week, on Sundays or a combination of the two. I would work for a minimum of 3 months including the preparation of a quarterly VAT return and possibly for 12 months
